Our Missionaries

Patrick and Jaqueline Bencke

​Patrick and Jaqueline serve the church in Kumamoto, Japan on the island of Kyushu. Only one percent of the people are Christian, so witnessing to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ is a HUGE challenge.
First Lutheran helps support the witness of the Bencke’s in Japan through our gifts and offerings. Patrick teaches English at Kyushu Lutheran College. Jaqueline is involved in music ministries.
